This print is available in two sizes.

18” x 24” (1st Edition): This image is 17.8” x 23.8” with a border, making the finished measurements 18” x 24”. This size is an edition of 15 prints and is priced at $600.00 per print.

9” x 12” (2nd Edition): The image is 8.8” x 11.8” with a border, making the finished measurements 9” x 12”. This size is an edition of 20 prints and is priced at $300.00 per print.

Each print is printed by the artist on Canson Rag Photographique 210 archival paper with Epson Ultrachrome HD archival ink. Color prints are color-balanced for daylight.

All prints are signed and numbered by the photographer and come with a certificate of authenticity.

Optimal minimum viewing distance is 3.5 feet and 2 feet, respectively.

ABOUT THIS SERIES

These photographs were made during nightly walks by myself, as I struggled to balance the tension between my need for pleasure, mystery, longing, comfort, and security.

When I began sharing this work, I also began fielding questions from well-meaning friends that resembled those I might receive at the onset of a new love affair, namely, “Are you being safe?”

I tell them “yes" as shorthand for the truth: that safety is an illusion and outside of my control, but I feel free and very much alive.

CERTAIN GRASPING is a love affair with seeing and feeling what is obscured by shadow—a rekindling of my desire for desire itself.
